Shatterstar

Shatterstar

Another random comic character pulled from a random comic. Shatterstar, of X-Force. Not really a fan of Rob Liefeld’s, I got into the series when Greg Capullo came aboard and really dug what Adam Pollina did with the book later on. This design is based on his outfit for Shatterstar.

Deadpool

Deadpool

I grabbed a random comic out of my collection and drew the character Deadpool. I was a fan of the series in the late ’90s when I was still big into superhero comics. This picture turned out okay. I was trying to make it goofy like my Space Ghost, but it didn’t quite work out that way.

Elmer

Elmer

I was hoping that there was a more sinister explanation; hooves in it or something. It turns out, according to the Elmer’s website, Elmer is the husband of Borden’s Elsie the cow. They wanted to use Elsie for the glue, but then stupid people might eat it so they used Elmer here. We both learned something today. Hooray for internets!
