This week’s topic for Illustration Friday is FAT. I decided to revisit my Maury friend and did an obese child. I could go on a Spurlockian rant about the diets of youngsters and the influence of fast-food advertising and the like, but I will not.
This particular image was done in ink and watercolor. Splashes of chocolate and Cheetos were smeared into her shirt.
This week’s Illustration Friday topic is Spotted. I figured the easiest way to convey this topic would be with one of my bizarre creatures. Yep. Here he is. The spotted leopard mouse. Endangered species, he is. Probably due to their genetically predisposed nature to smoke three packs a day. Weirdos. (One of these days I need to learn how to paint.)

Some random guy I drew on my lunch break today. Have no idea what he’s supposed to be. Poor guy, one leg and all. At least he gets to park up real close when he goes to the stores.
Me and k.t. were watching the Maury show today. It was a past guest update show that was to feature obese children. We are pretty sure one of these episodes is gonna show one of the kids taking a bite out of a chair or something and we want it recorded, so we taped it.
Alas, no furniture was devoured, but this one girl made a funny face and we tried to recreate it in art form.
I went all retarded and cartoony and made the poor girl look absolutely grotesque.

This fella is a lame attempt at a Japanese-like mascot creature. Not too sure about the color scheme, but I kinda like him.
