I made comics in high school. This character I created back in 1994 or so. Henrietta The Erotic Sasquatch. Based on a friend’s ex-girlfriend who was rumored to have to shave her torso and back and such. This particular picture is a bit of a redesign I did in 2001 for possible inclusion in me and k.t.’s No Outlet comick. I don’t know what the mask is for. More scary? I don’t know.
So i drew this weird thalidomide Wolverine and I got to thinking about one of my favorite motion pictures Freaks. I thought about what if the director of that film were still around to direct an X-Men film. So I made this fake little movie poster. I may do some more of the X-Men as sideshow performers in the near future. Let me know if any of y’all would like to see that. Thanks.

This week for Illustration Friday, the theme was Play. I went back to my youth and what I used to play. Nintendo. That was my youth. In front of the TV. Blowing in Nintendo cartridges. Playing until my fingers cramped up. Yeah. Good times.
