Yep. I’m on a bit of a robot kick lately. I have a cup full of pens, markers and such near the computer here and every once and a while I go through it and make sure they work and stuff. I drew this robot guy here using all of them.

The above picture of Nike Air Flights was drawn in my first high school art class. The very first period of 9th grade Drawing 1 we had to draw our shoe. And there it is. Compare and contrast with the picture below I drew today of my shoe.

I primarily work in pen and ink now so that’s what I used for it. I wouldn’t say the new one is better than the old one, just different. How I draw has changed a lot with in the 16 years between the two pictures.
I did the same thing with self-portraits last April. Check it out here.
(A little series showing the making of a piece for the website for the comick me and k.t. have been working on.)

This is an initial sketch of a header featuring the three main characters of the book: Max, Tyrone and H.I. The plot is all over the place, but drugs play a large part, so H.I. indulges in a little bong hit on the right there.

A lame sketch for this weeks’ Mysterio Monday.

So I was at work the other day and I was having some computer trouble. We have these newish Linux-based workstations running some absolute rubbish DOS program from a dozen years ago and I drew this little sketch on post-it while waiting for a reboot. Somebody must have liked it an they stuck it onto the calendar.
Me and k.t. were watching the Maury show today. It was a past guest update show that was to feature obese children. We are pretty sure one of these episodes is gonna show one of the kids taking a bite out of a chair or something and we want it recorded, so we taped it.

Alas, no furniture was devoured, but this one girl made a funny face and we tried to recreate it in art form.

I went all retarded and cartoony and made the poor girl look absolutely grotesque.

k.t. does a slightly less exaggerated take. I think hers is way better than mine. Let me know what y’all think in the comments. Thanks. Bye.

So’s I sat down today and worked on me and k.t’s comick. This page in particular is an scene involving the alternate-reality versions of ourselves. Just five more pages left in issue one!
