Blobs Be Things

July 28, 2007

A challenge was issued over Bearskinrug. Make blobs. Into things. This is something I’ve done myself a couple times already. I threw back a couple beers and this is what I came up with:

blobs be things

Check out the original post here if you’d like to give it a try yourself.

Mario

Mario

Jeez. That Italian plumber is kind of a dick when he has a few drinks in him.

Day Seven (Of 13)

5-13

With my girlfriend gone there were a couple things I had planned on doing. One was do a daily update schedule on this here blog-thing (which I already effed up). Two was sit down for however long it took and finally finish Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which I’ve been working on for a couple months an hour or three at a time. I beat it and there was some cursing involved, which brings us to today’s little picture. Mew doesn’t like yelling. Or the faces I make when I do.

(My girlfriend k.t. is out of town for two weeks. I’m documenting my time without her.)

So I thought I would enter a little Photoshopping contest over at DS Fanboy to win a copy of the portable versions of Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam. I’ve been a fan of the Tony Hawk series on consoles since the first one. I didn’t win, but I did get honorable mention over at the site. Check it out.

Mega Man

Megaman

A seriously damaged Mega Man. I was way into Mega Man when I was younger. Mega Man 2 being a personal favorite. It had the best soundtrack of ever.

There are several music groups that cover Mega Man and other video game tunes. Two of the best are the Minibosses and The Advantage. Check them out if you haven’t already.

Tetris Fever

April 20, 2006

tetris fever

I’m way into the Tetris DS. All the crack-like addictiveness (just one more game) of the original, with the added humiliation of getting defeated by someone halfway across the world. Seriously, how can so many good players be on there at 4:00 in the damn morning. I get my arse handed to me pretty regularly. Rev. Josh is my handle on there so be easy on me. I’m kinda lame.

Hey gang. Another Mysterio Monday. Two of them for you this week:

Animal Crossing Mysterio

Me and k.t. are way into the DS game Animal Crossing. Way into it. So I thought I’d combine one passion with another. Hence, the Mysterio kitchen tile.

Rainbow Mysterio

This one was done on one of those rainbow scratcher things. Roseart Rainbow Scratch Drawing kit. Yeah. That’s it. I got it for Christmas as I tend to get art products and the like for gifts. I like the way it turned out. I should’ve drawn Spider-Man a little bigger in the corner there.

Check out the previous Mysterio Mondays here.

Animal Crossing

Perhaps a little influenced by the video-game art site Lifemeter, I decided to draw my character in the virtual world of Animal Crossing for the Nintendo DS. This game occupies much of me and my girlfriend’s time as we decorate our house and clothing and write letters and fish and craps. Anyhow, it’s a rad game that you should check out.

Pac-Man

pac-man

Another ancient picture I’ve unearthed. I must’ve drawn this one in 1981 or so, when the world was in the throes of the Pac-Man fever pandemic that we, as Americans, still haven’t quite recovered from.
