Watched Black Sheep this afternoon.

Silly little sketch I did while watching Hellraiser III. Somebody had to have done this already, right?

This year’s version of the Friday the 13th villain. I like the one I did 7 years ago better. Crap. Am I getting worse at this whole art thing?
(I originally called this post Friday The 13th Part 2, but I thought I would get some flack from horror nerds saying that Jason didn’t even have his hockey mask in Part 2 and then I would explain it was just referencing this being the second Friday The 13th post from me. Or something.)

Every Friday the 13th I draw a picture of Mr. Jason Voorhees to celebrate. This is a rendition from 1999 that I happen to like quite a bit.

So I was at the local Hollywood Video store checking out the used DVDs and I happened upon MPD Psycho, a Japanese miniseries directed by one of my favorite directors Takashi Miike. Although it was made for television and is therefore edited, it still has some pretty weird shit in it as anyone who seen any of Miike’s films (Audition, Happiness Of The Katakuris, Gozu) would expect.

A watercolor piece based on one of the two greatest scenes in the motion picture Zombie (also known as Zombi 2) by Italian filmaker Lucio Fulci. A woman getting grabbed by a zombie and dragged eye-first slowly into a splinter of a wooden door. One of my favorite zombie movies of ever.

A goofy watercolor rendition of the Nightmare on Elm Street villain.
