I was sorting some old sketches on my computer and found this monstrosity from 2003. Not sure what I was thinking, but I almost certainly wasn’t sober. I inked it all up in Flash.

(This started out as an animated version of the coffee coffee guy from Regular Show but I guess I got sidetracked in the middle there.)
My new comick is really getting into my own head and how I think with some autobiographical stuff. I tried something like that 15 or so years ago. This was a page from a comic I only started.
It was going to feature the actual me in the comic as a person who creates the comics that he was in. I was not as comfortable with myself as an artist/writer at the time and I had yet to have tried drugs, so I couldn’t really wrap my head around what I was trying to do.
The first page of a stream-of-consciousness comick I just started begins with self-doubt and gets really weird shortly thereafter, believe you me.
